When I saw the painting at Pompidou there was this thin tall guy dressed in red pantyhose contemplating in front of this painting. At first the guy caught my attention but this painting is something beyond that.
Personal note: Somehow this painting brings back my memory of reading Virginia Woolf´s Orlando. I think there was this skating scene with Sasha that is instantly brought to my mind when I see this picture.

The Handsome Pork-Butcher (1924-6, 1929-35) by Francis Picabia
I admire Picabia´s work a lot. This piece is one of my favourites since I have actually seen it which made me understand he´s genius. My trembling gaze between the two figures keeps me attracted to this image.
